Each session will focus on one chapter from Becoming a Soulful Parent.

Kyla
Pfeif
Kyla is a Momentum Community Leader and attended a Momentum trip in 2019. She works in human services at a local non-profit. She serves as the chair of Member Engagement and Programs at Har Shalom Center for Jewish Living. Kyla has two daughters and enjoys sewing, gardening, and camping.
Jessica Minnen Berkowitz
Jessica Minnen Berkowitz is a writer, ritualist, and liturgist committed to the discipline of delight. Before coming to Momentum, she was a part of the founding team of OneTable where she served as Director of Jewish Learning for seven years.
Jessica is a sought-after educator who has taught for Hillel International, Jewish Federations of North America, the JCC Association of North America, Foundation for Jewish Camp, and Birthright Israel, among others.
Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, she is an alumna of Washington University in St. Louis, the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, Paideia: The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden, Baltimore Hebrew University, and the Jewish Theological Seminary, and a past Fellow of Reboot, the Shalom Hartman Institute’s Women’s Leadership Mission, and the Ruskay Institute for Professional Leadership. Jessica and her family live in Denver, Colorado.
Shifra
Yachnes
Shifra is the co-Director of Spark Orlando, an organization whose mission is to connect and inspire Jewish women. Shifra brings her passion and love of people to everything she does, whether it be teaching, mothering, connecting or community involvement. She takes her love for Judaism and its values and gives it over in a relatable, yet charismatic way that keeps her audience captivated. Her main desire is to participate in acts of chesed (kindness) and help build a stronger Jewish community.
Sarah Gittleson
Sarah Gittleson is the co-director of SPARK Orlando. Her passion for life is evident in the many roles she has held - mom, educator, social worker, entrepreneur, friend, and proud Jew. In 2014, the Gittlesons moved from New York City to Orlando as part of the founding team of JOIN Orlando with a mission to connect and inspire the Orlando Jewish community. After leading the 2015 Momentum trip to Israel and subsequent conversations with trip participants, she used her passion for education, her excitement about Judaism, and her years of experience to create SPARK (the women's division of JOIN Orlando), along with her leadership team.
Mindy Radler
Glickman
Wherever she lives, Mindy immerses herself in her Jewish community, locally and globally. Mindy is her community's Hebrew instructor, founder of Mitzvah Mamas, a Community Leader with Momentum, and is on leadership teams of The Joint Distribution Committee-JDC, Arava Institute & the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. Mindy grew up in Peekskill, New York, where she has been involved in her family's tuxedo business, Marty's Formal Wear.
Tara

In 2016 Tara was offered the unique opportunity to lead a group of Jewish Moms from Stuart on a Momentum trip to Israel. This journey of a lifetime inspired Tara to help other moms feel confident in their ability to provide a Jewish home for their families, one that will instill a joy for being Jewish, connect them with Jewish values, and provide a deeper connection with Israel.
Jody Comins
Jody Comins, MSW, is a Divorce & Family Mediator in the Greater Boston area. She is the National Momentum Engagement Co-Chair for Hadassah. Jody is the creator of “Honor thy Children: Jewish Parenting through a Divorced Lens” and the author of “Speaking Out: Voices of Adult Children of Divorce.”
