Explore questions about conditional versus unconditional love, and the power of enduring love, while digging into sources from the Mishnah, Midrash, and Talmud.

Power of Love: Medieval
Explore excerpts from the Kabbalah, commentaries, and Maimonides’ writings, uncovering the importance of our loving intentions, actions, and emotions.

Explore sections from Hasidism, Mussar, and Jewish thought, confronting questions like, “Can we make ourselves love someone?” and “When is love selfish or selfless?

Harnessing Anger: Bible
Explore why some individuals are rewarded for their anger while others are punished for it, by unpacking Moses’ anger at the Israelites and Hanna’s anger at Penina.

Explore four types of temperaments, as well as Hillel’s key to avoid getting upset by unpacking excerpts from the Mishnah, Midrash, and Talmud.

She has been a Jewish educator for two decades, leading self-development groups for adults and teens, and mentoring educators around the world. Ruchi is a certified parenting coach, motivational speaker, musician, author, and mother of seven.

Josh Broide

Josh Broide is the Director of the Momentum Men’s Division. He founded the Deborah and Larry D. Silver Center for Jewish Engagement (CJE), a Division of Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. The CJE was awarded the Jerusalem Unity Prize by the State of Israel and is the only community to ever receive the award. In addition, he earned a Masters in Special Education and a Masters in School Administration and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University. He received a certificate in Rabbinic Management for Jewish Leaders from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Adrienne Gold Davis is the Director of Experience and Engagement for Momentum, and is an international Jewish educator. She was a Canadian television personality specializing in fashion, style, and beauty before falling in love with Judaism and making a major career pivot. She spent 15 years as a senior lecturer and community liaison for the Jewish community before joining the Momentum team. Today, she also hosts a top-rated podcast (Rise and Shine with Adrienne Gold Davis) and hosts Momentum 'Boost,’ a weekly interview show. She's been married for over 30 years and has two adult sons.

Nili Couzens is an international motivational speaker and Jewish educator who has lived in the US, South Africa, and Israel. Nili was the Founding Director of Jewish Life Seminars and also served as the Director of the Women’s Division in Philadelphia for 17 years. Nili has been married for 24 years and she has six children and one grandchild. Nili lives in Israel, and is a Momentum Educator.

Lori Palatnik is a Momentum Educator and the Founding Director of Momentum. She is a much-sought-after international speaker, and the author of several books. Her latest, Turn Your Husband Into Your Soul Mate” is available in bookstores now. In 2014, Lori was named as one of the ten “Women to Watch” by Jewish Women International, in recognition of her contribution to Jewish women throughout the world; Hadassah recently named Lori as one of the “Most Outstanding Jewish American Women of Our Time.” In 2020, Lori was selected to light the “Diaspora” torch at the national ceremony for Israel’s 72nd Independence Day.
